should send their kids to the US to complete the high school education.
Maybe they felt that I am a faculty and should know more about it.
Well, what I have seen is that the education system here in the US may not
beat the Chinese system utill at the college or graduate school level. Why
so many of them want to send their young kids to a place so far away from
them so early? I'm at an Engineering school, so my view is biased. So I
would like to hear what other faculties think about it. Thanks! |

发帖数: 12367 | 4 这个，我做过调查，因为我姐的两个儿子。
曾想过到我附近的高中读书然后当然是读大学什么的，
这边的一个私立学校还趁在北京办展见了外甥一面，很impressed，一直鼓励来上。
后来觉得不是很理想，毕竟美国高中是四年，学制什么的也不连贯，
上高中的时期也不能完全独立，申请大学和国内读高中再申请也没太大区别。
国内高中的国际班也去咨询了，觉得国际班管理上太松，连这个都决定不上。
最后还是高分上了重点住宿高中，两个礼拜回家一次。
等高中毕业看具体情况再决定，很大可能是申请美国的大学。

衷在美国读高中的讯息。都被问到几回了。 |
