正在找生物学AP的位置，收到email说要电话面试
There was considerable interest in your application when we discussed it at
today’s search committee meeting, but the committee also had a few
questions we would like to ask before deciding whether to invite you out for
an interview. I would like to arrange with you a time for a brief phone
call within about the next week.

他们问我的问题:
1. Tell us why you want to leave your current position and why you think
the position in the Department is a best fit for you?
2. Why your research fit the department’s biomedical research view?
3. How do you teach students with different levels (those not prepared
well and those well-informed?)
4. What courses can you teach?
5. How do you view the research influence in teaching and vise versa?
6. What funding agencies are you going to apply ?
7. What equipment do you need in the future studies?
然后我问他们的问题和他们的回复:
1. What equipment does the university have? (cryostat, qPCR, SEM/TEM (
other university),animal facility(in College Pharm.), confocal(in other
Depart.) etc.
2. How many applicants for this and next step, and how long the waiting
time?(2-3 weeks)
3. Tenure requirements? (on faculty book, 3 publications)
4. Length on each rank? About 5 to 6 years on TTAP
5. Teaching load? (12 contact hours/semester, can teaching release with
funding, other scholarly work counts for that as well).
