of compound interest. My $500k 30 year ROP term life premium is $50 a month,
starting at 31 as non-smoking man. My wife choose $500k term w/o ROP from
Metlife and premium is 300$ a year, from 28 year old as a F1 student. Some
insurance companies do not provide ROP term for F1 or H1. My lowest
quotation was from AIG but finally chose Genworth because they accept H1 for
ROP term at that time. You can quote online and in my case a local broker
stopped by and showed me his quote was the same as mine. We tried 20, 30
year term and 20, 30 year ROP. ING or AIG were the lowest in each group.
Later he figured out only Genworth can do ROP for H1 and monthly payment is
only $2 more than AIG. So I accepted that and scheduled the blood test. That
was 2008, hope this information is still useful.
