我买的MBT的，穿了一年多了，每周要穿着走10miles左右
感觉确实有矫正走路的姿势的作用
我以前走点路就腰酸的不得了，穿这个后就好多了

在亚马逊， 61.7 免运费， 不过只有浅色的，那种酷酷的深蓝色木有。
footsmart.com便宜，有49.99 的，但是最小6号，一般都是7，8 号以上。我脚小，
Take不成这个advantage了。。。。。。。。。。。

不知道这种鞋子的TONING指的是什么。我在找可以使小腿肌肉细长结识的锻炼。
要不然不会考虑这么高跟的运动鞋。
知道的MM可不可以科普一下? |

回国前买了一双，穿着在国内走了一个月，挺有效的。skechers牌的才是正宗吧。 |

Are the benefits of toning shoes over-exaggerated?
Toning shoes such as Skechers Shape-ups represent the fastest-growing
segment of the multibillion-dollar athletic footwear industry. Skechers
markets its Shape-ups as "toning" shoes that strengthen your butt and thigh
muscles while reducing cellulite and improving posture. However, some say
that the company's claims are outrageous and that the shoes may pose
potential hazards. There are many factors to consider before investing in
Skechers Shape-ups.
Heavy
2. Skechers Shape-ups are made of stronger, thicker material than
traditional running or training shoes. They also have a much heavier sole,
making them feel heavier on the wearer's feet. Some people may feel slower
and tire more quickly when wearing Shape-ups to walk around.
Can't Replace Exercise
3. Although Skechers Shape-ups have been advertised to strengthen and
tone the wearer's legs, many doctors are skeptical about the shoes'
physiological benefits. Dr. Fabian Pollo, Director of Orthopedic Research at
Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, says that although the
shoes increase muscle activation in the legs, the shoes are not a viable
alternative to conventional workouts. "It's not a magic bullet of weight
loss or toning your body. It can lead to some of those possible benefits but
not to the extent you can replace exercise routine or diet," Pollo says.
Limited Improvement
4. Skechers Shape-ups reportedly work by making the muscles of your legs
and feet work hard to stabilize your body and keep you upright. However, the
body eventually adapts to any workout routine done repeatedly, and the
shoes are no different. After the leg muscles become conditioned to walking
on the uneven surface created by the shoes, any additional benefits will
decrease.
Unstable
5. Skechers Shape-ups are designed with a rounded sole, which means that
at any given time only a small part of the sole makes contact with the
ground. This could cause traction issues on completely smooth or slippery
surfaces, so the shoes may have added risk of slipping and falling when
walking in the rain or on smooth sidewalks.
Possible Injuries
6. Many doctors and sports medicine professionals worry about the
physical effects of wearing toning shoes regularly, especially on those with
balance or alignment issues. Dr. Barbara de Lateur, professor of Physical
Medicine and Rehabilitation at Johns Hopkins University's School of Medicine
in Baltimore, warns that, by destabilizing the way a person walks, shoes
like Skechers Shape-ups can lead to strained Achilles tendons. de Lateur
also warns that the shoes can be even more dangerous for older or out-of-
shape consumers.
Legal Woes
7. Skechers is currently facing a federal class-action lawsuit in
California that accuses the company of making exaggerated claims about the
health benefits of the Shape-up shoe. The suit also alleges that the shoes
increase the chances of injuries such as pulled hamstrings and broken ankles
due to its bulky and unstable design. The complaint validates its
accusations by quoting several scientists who have spoken out against "
toning" shoes as well as a USA Today report that suggest the shoes are not
much more than an "overhyped gimmick."

走长了的话比较累。现在我平时工作学习的时候都穿它，如果去gym锻炼或者出去玩得
花就换普通的running shoes。 |
