Store managers dictates (nowadays) who gets birkin/kellys.
She will review the customers' purchasing history, and reward the most loyal
(and stylish she thinks) with birkin/kelly/constance bags.
If it is your first time, they will not tell you anything about the stock of
birkin/kelly via phone. You have to go into the store by person, and
nowadays it is 99.99% you can not find a birkin just by walking into a store
(unlike a few years ago you can just go into a store and grab one, maybe
not the best color, but you can grab one)
Now, let's talk about who/how to get the birkins.
If one only buys bags/belts and nothing else, chances are that she will
never gets a birkin in this store(especially smaller ones).
If one not only buys bags, but also clothing/scarves/china/decoration stuff/
bracelets/shoes/different kind of bags like porchette (which in my opinion
is a GEM for evenings with right colors!) and Lindy, more than likely
whenever there is shipment, she will first get noticed if there is birkin/
kelly arrived or not.
Unfortunately for you, buying birkin is much harder now than before. I
remembered in 2009 I bought like 6 for my LD in like a month (yes, rouge
garrance with GHW!!!). Also many popular colors are long gone (like RG,
Fuschia).
You can try the stores in China. They have something like if you spend 200K
RMB(birkin/kelly excluded), they will put you on a reserve list and usually
they mean it.
Of course, you can always find some other sources besides the Hermes
boutiques, with risks.
There is so much more to talk about. I learned a lot form my pucharsing
stuff for my LD and it is fun.

PLUS the labor and resource (animal skins and skin-dye included) cost hiked
like 200% in some regions in a few years to limit the capability of Hermes
to produce more pieces ...
There used to be a way to buy birkins easily, my LD told me that whenever
there was a new Hermes store open, there could be 10s of birkins for that
store on opening day.
Now? not so lucky. We went to the Short Hills store's opening cocktail
ceremony the other day, and to the store opening the 2nd day.
You know what there were only two Birkins 35 new pink SHW and 35 black GHW (
which is in the back room). They got sold to two cute Asian ladies in like 5
seconds because they were the first and second in line at 8AM ...

Also there is an African American SA (Lincoln) in Madison which is very nice
. He is not very political (i.e. less bullshit) compared to other white SAs,
and very polite.
Also my experience is that somehow if you are a guy, you can get birkin
easier than ladies. I don't know why, so ask your husband to help you. Also
white SAs are the worst to customers (on average), Asian SAs (except that
Jap floor manager in Madison) and AA SAs are bett.
Asian is good to asian. AA are dumber, and so in a way, they are less likely
to follow bouqiue policies etc and can just blindly hand you a GEM
sometimes.

The most important truth is that SA do not get commission alone when she/he sells a birking/kelly bag. The commission will be shared among the floor SAs for any sold birkin/kelly.
So she/he has no intention to sell you a b or k only becuase he/she has it. She/he want to make sure that you will come back to buy other pieces so she/he can earn commissions ALONE from your purchase. (like a Lindy bag) And I am pretty sure the SAs
not give a crap about things like "brand management".

翻回去看了一下，发现他可数不可数分得不是很清楚，比如stock
还有从句一定要用who的地方，都用成which了。可见对定语还是宾语从句不是很明白。
在academia常写作的人，可能语法都好些。
