发帖数: 712 | 2 I brought a Chanel J12 H2980 online before. The product is generally fine. I
compare it very very carefully with the ones sold in a Chanel boutique and
could hardly tell the difference. Even when I resized the links in a Chanel
boutique, the sales had his hands on it for 15 minutes without noticing
anything abnormal. The store's J12-specific link removal tool worked
perfectly fine on my J12.
But it's not perfect, some small flaws keep bothering me.
1. the engraving on the back of the watch is not exactly the same as the
boutique ones'. Though it says 'Chanel', 'J12', serial number, 'automatic',
'200m' etc. The layout is not exactly the same, also missing the word 'Paris
'.
2. the engraving on the hidden metal clasp where it only says 'Chanel' but
the boutique version also says 'Paris'
3. Here comes the most disturbing one: the model number on the clasp is not
for H2980, it's some other model number. Fuck!!
I found these flaws very annoying though they're not visible when you wear
it. But for such an expensive piece you expect them to be perfect.
I guess these watches have some kind of same origin with the boutique ones,
like from the same factory or some kind. Otherwise it's really hard to
replicate to this level of resemblance. Everything's great except the
engraving on the metal parts.
In the end I sold it to a relative in China. So buy at your own risk.
