If you use a wt4 line on wt5, this is called underlining. Otherwise, if you
use wt6 on wt5 rod, this is overlining. The rod wt is calculated by taking
into account 30 yds of fly line in the air. In another word, if you use a
std wt5 line on wt5 rod, and you have 30 yds line out in the air, you are
getting the best casting performance. In those cases where you constantly
cast shorter, for example, on east coast small brooks where only 10-20 yrds
of casting distance is n
