么意思？我已经买了fishing license（$9)和Trout（$5),那么这个WMA（$19)还需要吗?
难道还有不在Public Area钓鱼的？ |

For example, a lake is surrounded by private houses, so you can not enter
the bank.
At least in NJ, you can only fishing in public fishing area with the common
license. |

fishing within public area, what the WMA license for?
Based on the DNR website of Georgia, WMA means "Widelife Management Area and
Public fishing area".

发帖数: 2803 | 4 钓鱼手册上或者DEP的网站上会有说明，有些WMA但不能钓鱼，有些地方是WMA并且允许钓鱼的地方，不买的话不能在那些地方钓，查清楚了再出动吧。
keep 鱼也搞清楚size limit和bag limit再留，小心ticket，见置顶的ticket 贴。

从DNR查到以上这句话。是不是PFAs是指一些专门designed for fishing的地方，可能
那里的鱼比较好钓，比较多。但是需要特殊的维护和管理，所以就有需要另外贵一些的
WMA license。这是我的理解。不知对错。 |

发帖数: 282 | 8 我觉得不是。widelife management area有点针对hunting来讲，public fishing area
是针对fishing来讲。我觉得public fishing area和public water area不是一个意思
。后者是所谓的非私有水域，而前者应该是特定的“公共垂钓场所”，是经特殊维护的
以垂钓为主的娱乐区域或park。不知道理解正确与否。反正regulation手册上对PFAs有
专门的一页，就是说需要WMA的license才可以钓。
