that a bird cannot fly.
The forests are so deep
that a man cannot survive.
In a single, little canoe
however,
sits an old man
with his straw rain hat
fishing alone
in the cold, snowy river. |

我理解成：山高无鸟，林深无人，但一蓑笠翁，独钓寒江雪。

江边的山峦叠嶂，鸟儿也四散奔逃，为了逃避那肆虐的大雪。
路上也没有行人在风雪们踯躅。
只有江上那孤独的老翁，穿着厚厚的蓑衣，
依旧秉杆垂纶在白雪覆盖的江面上。 |
