发帖数: 16778 | 4 I saw a watersnake (or may not) crawling in a tree branch
when I kayaked fishing.
where there is a tree falling down into water, I would fish there but it
also
scares me a little because I am afraid a snake might hide in the tree and
jump
onto my back.
I will check very carefully first. After I am sure there is no snake on the
tree, I then paddle my kayak and pass by the tree branch.
I encountered a rattle snake before. I almost stepped on it. but I was not
fishing. I was jogging in a hill of south Calfornia adjacent to Mexico.
I am lucky it is just a juvenile western diamondback rattlesnake and it didn
't bite me. It scared me a lot. but I guess I scared it too.

稀罕，结果鱼警立马给我一大嘴巴，去年真在湖边抓到一条，估计是宠物跑出来或者放

eastern diamondback是个稀罕物，据说有，我还没见过活的
水蛇见过几条
大蜥蜴有多大？美国木有巨蜥的，太大了肯定是鳄鱼

的时候冲上来的。当时光注意水里的鱼了，没有留心岸上的东西。从树杈边走过时，听
到有丝丝声和类似哈气声，低头一看，额地马，两条4-5尺长的棉花嘴，一条已经张开
大口，离我那毛腿也就一码的距离。咱以前所未有的速度蹦开。一条棉花嘴也害怕了，
跳河了，另一条比较勇敢，一直向我张着嘴吐着芯示威。直到我定下心情，找来石头，
准备超度它的时候才一头扎河里跑了。我也本着穷寇莫追的原则，放了它们一马。 |

becuase you saw a big mouth, so you guess it was cottonmouth?
how to tell if it is cottonmouth or copperhead before it opens its mouth?

发帖数: 9137 | 12 那天是我断后，所以我没有亲眼见到大蜥蜴，所以我坚持不认为是蜥蜴， 他们比量的
也不是很大，不到一米。如果是蜥蜴也是别人宠物跑丢的。

发帖数: 1243 | 13 因为是在水边，而且蛇跳水里逃走，所以断定是cottonmouth。我们这里比较常见的毒
蛇是rattle，cottonmouth，和coral。
