In China, New Year's Eve is a bigger event even than a New Year's Day,
because
the New Year's Eve is the time when members of a family would sit down
together
and cheer bear or wine together. Even in some provinces, family members will
play poker (fighting landlord) or majiang together.
It is interesting that some parents will give money as fund to their your
kids for playing games and then later win some of them back.
I still don't see any implications in talking about warm cloth at this time.
Probably it is because people get lonely.
Another question, is it when people are alone that they get lonely
or is it when they are reminded of something that they get lonely? |
