发帖数: 129 | 1 下班後有點時間去轉了一下。今天不用fly改用spinning，就是想看看有什麼別的魚。
除了Usual suspect - Yellow Perch 和 Pickerel之外還找到了Bass 和 Crappie.
Crappie 尺寸都不小，Bass不大。
有趣的是所有的Bass和Crappie身上都有明顯的傷痕，看來這湖裡的Pickerel真的太多

I think it is more challenging using fly, but reading suggest that it is
more fun, as least the rod is lighter and thus the fight is more exciting.

Spin fishing is like slaughtering lol. Fly fishing is the true art!
I use baitcasting gear for all my saltwater application. I only use spinning
gear to cast small and light jig head and lure. My tactic is to use
spinning gear to scout the water trying to see what fish are biting then I'
ll come back with a fly rod.

Spin rod is like driving automatic,
Bait casting is like driving manuel.Only if you are very good, it would make
a difference ( for river and lake, anyway).
I am thinking of getting a 9 wt fly rod, and a water-proof fly reel,
and use it for everything, river, ocean and lake.
Is that possible, you think? |
