Hello Everyone,
I use a Canon PowerShot S3 to take firework photos. If I set the exposure
time to 4 second (or even 8 sec sometime), after the shutter closes, it
almost takes another 4 ~ 8 sec for the camera to save / flush the image onto
the card, which means I cannot take new ones during this blackout window. I

长时间黑暗条件下曝光会带来很多热噪点
为了去除这些噪点
有些相机会关闭shutter对着黑暗曝光相同的时间
两幅图像做一些类似相减的处理就把一些噪点去除了
很正常

noise reduction, thus has short, if not immediate turnover time?

发帖数: 326 | 7 Check the SD or whatever media you are saving the pictures on. If you use
the cheap ones, their writing speed is too slow. Get one that's 10MB/sec or
above. |

尽量用低ISO拍东西，除非现有条件下光圈和快门不够用再升高ISO
这个turnover time是啥？我英语比较菜，不好意思 /..\

发帖数: 2318 | 9 This doesn't make sense, the photo size is not big at all, cannot image the
write process take that long. I think the post about noise reduction tells
the real reason.
