Colin Kaepernick's sore shoulder may be more serious than previously
expected.
The San Francisco 49ers quarterback missed his team's preseason opener on
Sunday and has yet to throw a pass since. Kevin Jones of KNBR reports that
Tuesday was Kaepernick's sixth straight day without throwing a pass.
The 28-year-old is in a competition with Blaine Gabbert to be the team's
starting quarterback in training camp.
Though Gabbert didn't play great in his first preseason action, Kaepernick's
absence in the offseason program and possible missed camp time could result
in a winner by default. |
