simply outbid the Seahawks. Last couple years were Seahawks' all in years,
but not this year. You don't want to out spend the Vikings. Seahawks will
also get a comp draft pic next year.
the person who cause all these trouble to Seahawks was the stupid player you
drafted in the 2nd round. He rode the ATV without a helmet and injured
himself. That wasted a 2nd round pick, and wasted another 2nd round pick for
the seahawks to trade for Richardson. That's 2 2nd round pick right there +
Richardson's money last year.
Give credits to JS for holding these many talented (and expensive) players
for these long. Wilson's 20+M cap hit had to make a dent to the team sooner
or later. I cast the same blame on Aaron Rodgers, so it is not something
personal against Wilson. If we have a less expensive QB, Jordy Nelson would
still be a Packers.

outperform your salary, you gain no advantages, no matter how good you are.
you are competing with QBs on rookie contract, and of course the Goat on
discounted contract. If Rodgers takes goat money, we could still keep Jordy
Nelson.

味精的offer是8m base + 3m incentives。从去年赛季末开始就说这个offseason的
priority之一是留住Sheldon，最后就给了6.5m的low ball offer留。。。现在Sheldon
走了，貌似又要搞Suh，他要至少15m，不知道FO怎么想的。。。

cut. No, you are not going to take less money just because you have a lot of
money already. However, you would be willing to EXCHANGE the money for
something else that may be more valuable to you, for example, closer to home
, less stress, flexible hours, better health insurance, nice boss and
coworkers, etc. You will not simply take less.
When I said Brady took less money overall for lower cap hit and more cap
flexibility, in exchange of more early guaranteed money, someone called me
the biggest Brady hater. (edit: I had clarified over and over that Brady was
still underpaid compared to the market price.)
Ironically, somewhere on the Internet, some Patriots fans were trying to
argue Brady did NOT take less money, so he did not gain any extra advantages
over the other QBs in winning more Superbowl. He is getting more guaranteed
money, and getting the money earlier, so he can use the money in other
investments to make more money. He is building his legacy and image so he
can make more money outside of football. Those guys must be bigger Brady
haters than I am. Crucify them.
