not really have too much of a performance hit on my machine, (P4 2.8, 1 G RAM,
Nivdia 5950 playint 1024x768 on high.)
Go into your Doom 3 "base" directory and find the file called pak000.pk4.
First and foremost, make a backup of this file in case you don't like the
changes. Now, there are two ways you can go about this: The way I did it was
to unpack this file into the base directory (you can open it with WinZip).
