I'm playing it, it is pretty fun, played online for couple times, as long as
you can find a low ping server, or the extra little lag takes my already
sucky skills to a whole new level of suckitude. It also just got patched on
Steam:
Updates to Mount&Blade: Warband have been released. The updates will be
applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes

New Game option to set Campaign AI to easy, normal or difficult NPC soldiers
