So, I get a new headset around every 6 months. I purchased these from the
Lenovo website on sale. They have horrible muffled sound, crap treble, mids
and bass...all horrible. They have a very short cord, and the headset is
uncomfortable after wearing them for only 30 minutes. I would not recommend
them, I only paid $15 for them with free shipping, and they are not even
worth it. I have purchased $15 headsets from Walmart, with better results.
I have previously owned Plantronics, Turtle Beach, Steel Series, HP and
Logitech headsets...they all blow these out of the water. (The HP and
Logitech were the same price as these, with far better quality.)

I got these on sale as well and I'm not very happy with them. The bass is
overwhelming while at the same time the overall volume of the headphone
never gets very loud. I bought these to listen to music with and
occasionally use the mic for Skype (also wanted the inline volume controls
which these have) and these aren't very good for listening to music with.
The headphones themselves never get very loud but even at half volume the
bass is just too much. Also the outside of the earcup is perforated with
holes which lets in tons of noise and is also loud to those around you. The
earcups don't really cup your ear either, they kind of are tight at the top
and loose at the bottom of my ears.

This is obviously not a gaming headset but if you're looking for something
cheap to use for messaging, voip, etc. then this'll work: It's padded all-
around, so it's comfortable; the sound is clear enough for speaking, as is
the mic. I got mine for around $9, and it does it's job as a backup/
emergency headset.
