issue" as they put it in email. I contact blizzard and got no more detail.
I looked back all the transactions I have in AH and wonder what could have
happened.
I remember seeing in some place that there is 1% of chance that AH could not
match buyer and seller.
In all the AH related emails I got from blizzard AH, I have several emails
telling me that:

An auction associated with this Diablo III account has encountered an issue
and has been cancelled for the protection of the parties involved. While we
strive to minimize any auction cancellations and regret the inconvenience
involved, keeping the auction house safe and secure is something we take
very seriously. Any funds used to participate in this auction will be
returned to the buyer, and the item will be returned to the seller in the
Diablo III auction house “Completed” tab.
Thank you for your understanding in this matter. Please feel free to post/
bid on the item again and otherwise continue to use the Diablo III auction
house as you would normally.

The first of this email happened in August 3rd, the second one in August 7th
, the third one in August 10th. Then 11 of them happened at the same time in
August 13th. Right at the 11 AH cancelation,I got another 3 emails, all
telling me that my account is locked due to auction house related issue.
Does anyone here have this kind of AH cancellation thing?
And, please, can someone help us to find the article saying that there is 1%
chance of mismatch in AH. I remember seeing it in battle.net somewhere. | A***d

Can some experts in IT, trade algorithm comment why they have this 1% of
error?
It puzzles me that they know this problem but could not pin down where and
solve it. It seems wierd that they could narrow this problem to < 1%, but
still let it happen. It is computing, isn't it supposed to be deterministic
if they know where the problem is. They should be able to solve it
completely or could not solve at all, why 1%?
It is unlike chemistry, we have salt in our kitchen with 99% of NaCl. IT
expert help please. |
