我的H4还在pending,这个时候去换会不会有什么麻烦,因为我也没有SSN,据说没SSN在这
里换驾照挺麻烦的.而且LD刚转身份,看以前的贴子说还有可能需要一个月的时间来查身
份,恐怖啊.如果去了,啥都没办成,旧驾照也不能用了,就麻烦大了.大家给说说,如果没
那么可怕,俺也不用每天用CA的驾照提心吊胆的开了.多谢哈. |

If you happen to be pulled over by cops, tell the truth that your
application is underway, or simply say you just moved here (in the last 30
days).
State law requires you to register your car within 30 days after moving to
the state (GA liability insurance is also required). You sure can register
it using an out-of-state driver's license within 30 days, but you will have
to provide a GA lic

那刚转的身份,和没有SSN对换驾照没什么太大的影响吧,最怕要等个三十天什么的.
GA现在应该没有no SSN,no drive license的规定了吧.我是不是需要去social
security office 办个什么证明信?

发帖数: 797 | 10 以前用h1b 办ga驾照没有查我30天啊。再说了，我每次搬到别的周，都用外州驾照至少
半年到3年，迫不得已了才换，没出过什么问题。
而且我现在还有个别州的驾照写着GA的地址。我就认识人有CA的驾照上写着别州的地址的，他们离开了CA好多年，一直用着。。你干脆就在你们加州dmv网上改成GA的地址就可以了。 |

需要去更新驾照吗？

你的H4 pending，估计不行。批下来后，要去SSN office办个拒绝给SSN的证明信，
拿这个证明信去申请驾照就行了。 |

I didnt get my GA license until the third year I was in GA (I didn't have a
place in any other state at the time) , which is not right under the policy
but never had any problem....

被抓了都不问你外州的车牌和驾照．

tag, drivers license不到很长时间后为了要弄个georgia resident（别的原因）才
去转ga license的

你要不是georgia resident,就不用。很多外州学生来georgia上学的，还不是一样4年
