请大家帮我出出主意. 这事情有点突然.我们现在住Dallas. 以前从来没有想过要搬到
外州.
最近,我LG的单位tranfer他去Augusta.也算是一个不小的promotion吧. 所以他很看重
这次机会.
我们不想长期分居,但是我也不想去Augusta那边找工作.所以就想到折衷办法 - 我和孩
子,老人住在Atlanta, 他在Augusta单独租个小公寓, 他周末commute回Atlanta. 因为
他的工作时间是4/10, 每周工作四天(10小时),休3天. 所以这样做还是可以行得通.
我今天初步看了一下,好像同胞们都住东北边Fulton地区. 那边对于我老公commute就更
远了20几mile. 所以我们首选居住在东边I20和285交叉处的西北区域 - Decatur or
North Decatur area.
因为我们也不知道要在亚特兰大待多久,初步计划2年. 所以暂时不考虑买房. 请各位帮
忙推荐好一点的公寓.我们想要3房的,绿化好的,有散步区域的community. 最最重要的
是不要有太多黑人邻居.大家要砸我种族歧视就砸吧. 我在他们中间真的是没有安全感.
我想有一个办法, 就是多花钱. 我看了大约1800月租以上的公寓就算是比较好的. 租金
我不会计较太多, 毕竟想住的满意就得砸银子. 请大家推荐一些社区满足我的要求, 适
合老人和孩子, 上班也不远 (我可能回去downtown上班).

网站上没有很多室内的照片, 不知道condition好不好.

发帖数: 3894 | 5 与Augusta到亚特兰大的距离相比，你们住在亚特兰大什么地方也就不重要了，又不是
天天开，那个20迈省不省完全没有意义，找个更理想的区域更合适。
当然我不是说Decatur不好，只不过完全是没有为了那点距离去折衷一下。

Please recommend good neighbourhood and daycare. I plan to send my baby to
daycare 1 year from now when she is 3.

and these areas are the place to buy a house.
Meanwhile, you are looking for a rental place, your child is near 3 years
old, and you are going to work near downtown, so I think any place is OK, as
long as the community you live is safe. If you plan to send you child to
public school, then you can find the house in the best elementary school
rating within your comfortable distance to your work place.
And also, since it is temp plan, about 2 years, you can also find very good
school/day care at Augusta.

We are probably not going to Augusta simply because that is not the place we
want to raise our family. I like big city with amenities.
What do you think of Buckhead or North Buckhead. I found some apartments
online and I plant to check out them and the neighborhoods as well. However,
there are some posts online saying Buckhead Triangle area needs to be
avoided. In addition, the crime may be another concern.

time- maybe b/c your got "dtt"there. remember you have a post in dtt 2009
about layoff which a lot of people replied-lol, i am one of them. at that
time, i just started with dtt and got really scared too :)所以虽然很冒昧，还
