Since it is a warm so far, check the website for opening before you go. We
went there the first weekend of December ($5 lift ticket). But the snow
melted afterwards. Now they are planning to open it again on Dec 22nd.
It is a 4 and half hour drive from Alpharetta/Johns Creek area.We don't like
drive through mountain roads.The driving is relative easy, mostly highway
85 then 321. You can stay at the Holiday Inn Express at Blowing Rock for a
night. |
