I would stand about 6-8 feet behinh the ball and use
the shaft of my club to form a straight line between the ball and the target.
It's amazing once you lower you shaft you can see a straight line between
the ball and the target for a split second. This really help line up your
club face, which is the most important. If you didn't start with a properly
squared (aligned) club face it is near impossible to hit the target.
