i was feeling very good after getting some tips from my buddy.
after several good swing, a guy walked around and watched me, oh man, i was
feeling so good, thought i did everything right. when i take a break, he
started to talk to me. to my surprise, he was pointing out what i did wrong,
and offered some free tips.
and later i chat with him a bit. realized that i was using his students'
spot. he came early, his students didnt show up yet.

By the way, how much is the everage beginner personal class cost? Do you tip
on personal training class or group class? Any recommendations? | ET
发帖数: 10701 | 5 depends. $45-50/hour, typical price for one on one class. $10-20/hour for
group class , or maybe less. location varies, can't say who is good at ur
local area. but u can ask someone at ur course driving range and let them
recommend..

by the way, how's your play at metro? must be very nice play when most guys
working their ass off.
monarch and metro are long courses, i will check them out once i get my
driver over 240

发帖数: 2325 | 8 check scorecard of monach bay, metro, boundary oak (all about 6900 - 7100)
for these long courses, the feature is that a lot of 420 or so par 4, and a
number of 200 or so par3.
if drive just 220, then 200 apporach, that's not confortable distance (never
hit green from 200 yard)
245 + 175 (borrow some roll on green, just 170, so it's more comfortable for
a mid iron shot)
if drive 245, 3wood 230 or so, then 70-80 left for 550 par5, or 20-30 yard
for 510 par 5. that's getting comfortable picture. | A*f

it was good. the front 9 was very quiet, feels like a private club, and i
made a birdie from par5 #3, which always makes you feel extra high.
feels very good right at the beginning, even through first 5 holes. then dig
a big hole out of par5 #6, drive into water, 接下去连环错, 9 strokes (+4)
from single hole.
the rest is just normal, another highlight is #13, par4 361 with wind, but
the course handicap index is 4, which i couldnt figure it out last time i
played, and i didnt show s

tee it high. every time i hit a high launch, i know i am looking at tee shot 200 or below.
tee high very easily leads to high launch
standard tee hight such that: middle of ball teed up = driver club head resting on
turf, isn't it.
how much higher you tee it up, how about ball position, further forward in
stance?
i know longer drivers tee it high, but they use very loft club head...

dont even consider it on these two courses, since they are links style, ie,
british open style. you dont want to tee your ball high, and let wind blow
it away.
the monarch course was named Tony Lema, who won british open in 1964, and
resident in bayarea.
