trust him and follow him for about one-year (at least), you could be as good
as what I get.
Lee Martin is much more affordable, compared to other top-ranked teaching
professionals.
He mentioned another guy in Irvine who is top-ranked teaching professional.
I heard that guy charges about $100 tho.

Or does your teacher know someone here? I don't have that much budget for
an expensive teacher for a year, but I really want one, :).
Also, do you mean once a week for a year?

I would say one lesson each other week.. (1 / two-week), given you have
enough time to practice what you've been told..
if u don't practice every day, take 1 lesson per 3-week. The frequency is
depending on how much you can meet the assignment your instructor gave u..
)?

few days. Some of my favorite ones (like solar companies) dropped almost 50%
in a week, I was lucky that I didn't touch them recently so avoided huge
loss otherwise cannot afford my golf lessons, :)
The coach I mentioned, Jack Berry, is from Kent Chase Golf Academy in
Phoenix.http://www.kentchasegolf.com/instructors.html A coach there recommended him but I've never talked him before. For 6 lessons it's $80/each for adul

$80太多了，不明白怎么比加州的还贵。我的前instructor，好歹在golf digest还有排
名的，$50/45 mins. 另外一个排名比他高20左右的，$60/hour.
也许钱不是太大个问题，但从选择instructor上讲，我建议找个年龄大些的，脑子相对
来说还是比较灵活的 - 从你和他交谈上来看。
还有，最重要的是，他和你1对你的交流过程中，有没有一个系统的观念，让你能感觉
到他在一个re-build你swing的过程，是system level的step by step & piece by
piece, 而不是piece by piece, here & there.
比如说，我的instructor告诉我说，他给我示范了一下，然后说：我希望你的动作，从
站着，到backswing, downswing, follow-through是这个样子的。因为你现在还不是这
个样子，所以我们一步步来改变你的动作。我基本上就是按照这个思路来学习的。
即使有些时候我打不好，我至少从脑海里能想象是个啥动作，然后来模仿；同样，

He He 你能来教简直太好了：），我觉得刚经过整个学习历程达到一个相当水平的人，
清晰的记得所犯过的错误和学习及纠正的过程，对新手来说是最好的教练。如果有空，
下次来phoenix前一定发个message,吃喝之余再小小讨教一番：）教练费照付,哈哈.
我女儿跟Kent在学golf，每周一次课。Kent教过Kimberly Kim （2006 US Women's
Amateur Championship）。在教过tiger的侄女Cheyenne Woods 近四年后，Cheyenne赢
了好几个major的kids champion。按说是个不错的coach,但学了一年，我觉得进步不如
我想象的大。可能是我太心急，因为她only started a year and half ago.不过有时
候还是frustrated,所以也希望提高自己的水平。我很赞同你说的“系统的观念" of an
instructor,但她的教练至少目前好像不是这样， ：（
其实她上课我每次都看，怎么就是学不会？看来没人指导就是很慢。

发帖数: 10701 | 12 小孩我没教过不是太知道，但是象我们这样，逻辑思维能力都不差，应该没啥问题。
当然，每个人的协调性不太一样，这样也造成结果上的差异。

进步很快了。
