差别在哪里？我知道大多数业余的都怕long iron，所以才有了hybrid。大家用的感觉
如何？不知道ET用不用hybrid，好像他说proud of 能hit long iron。
我在考虑要不要添加hybrid或者5，7 wood。

发帖数: 467 | 2 I love my hybrid. my favorite club in my bag. replace my 5wd or 3 iron.
ET doesn't use hybrid if I remember correctly, he carry 3 and 5wd. he
probably has a 7 wd.

发帖数: 3067 | 3 I like my hybrid too, it was my most favorite. only recently demoted to
second favorite, replace its place with my driver.
i dont have 5wood, but i am looking into buying one, i thought 5wd would be
hit further than my 4 hybrid.

发帖数: 321 | 4 Been watching a lot of tour recently and saw lot of Pros using hybrids. And
the commentator keeps saying that it makes more sense for armatures to get
one too. Being able to hit long irons well is definitely something to be
proud of and to brag about, but most people can always get better result
with hybrids. |

发帖数: 10701 | 5 normally, faster swing speeder prefer hybrid over woods. same spec. hybrid
hits ball further than woods . ( i don't know how it happens, but it happens
.)
the reason I don't hit hybrid is that I want to keep consistent regarding my
club selections. I've been using cobra offset woods for 1 1/2 year, and
really like them. So i select the 7-wood to replace my 3 iron which I think
it's a good decision. (i am still debating the selection, but I'll keep as
it is for a while.)

谢谢ET的detail的分享。看来我的swing speed 比较慢。可能比较适合wood。

last time watching Tour championship (fedex cup) at east lake, 18 hole par 3 23x yards. watched what kind of club those guys use for that kind of distance: Garcia
using 4i, AK use hybrid, Michelson use 3i. Turned out Garcia and Michelson
were closer to pin than AK.
about 7 wood distance:
A comparable 7 wood will hit about 10-15 yards shorter than your 5 wood, and
a 9 wood will hit 10-15 yards shorter than the 7 wood, on average. Remember

不过从ET的帖子里面感觉7 wood可以替代3 or 4 Iron。
我希望7木可以打170-180码。加强3跟4铁的weak point。

发帖数: 10701 | 11 it's true. i use my 7-wood to replace my 3iron. but i choke down to hit some
4 iron distance when i want to hit ball high. sometimes, even for 5iron
distance. ( i still hit 5/4 when i want to hit ball low to against wind.)
if you are confident about ur other fairway woods, and it's a good idea to
keep them consitent. make sense, right?
