and accurate on yeardage. don't know other functions. Haven't spend too
much time on it.
It seems Vankie bought this long time ago, he may give you more information.

haven't used viewti but one of my friend has it.
I am happy with the golfshot GPS, bought it once it came out. usded
scorecard version from them and loved that app.
the GPS app functions include:
standard gps functions (yardages or meters)
handicap calculation, auto updating, handicap scoring
keep current and previous scorecards
statistics for current and previous rounds
Both apps have decent ratings and Golfshot GPS costs little more. |

you the slope info. |

i think i basically need two features:
- distance finding: fast response, accurate (within 5 or 10 yds maybe?), and
covering all essential spots (e.g. front/back/center of green) or even any
spot (possible?) on the course.
- scorecard with statistics, such as GIR, putts, fairway hits and stuff.
is this too much to ask? :p
do ViewTi or GolfGPS have all these functions? |

And it keeps all your scorecards, updates your handicap after each round (
good for me who does not have official handicap)
statistics include Fairway hits, GIR, recovery, putts per hole, putts per
GIR.
One additional feature I'd like to have:
automated distance tracking!!!! heihei, too greedy??

interface with those two. Or, please correct me if I am wrong. dietcigs
should have better opinion since his friend is using viewti.
And MAKE SURE that GPS and automated distance tracking both work for the
golf course you are playing the most. My recent bad experience for the
purchase of GolfCard is that only a number of golf courses have been marked
and available to use GPS tracking yardage, although it's relatively cheap
