球在cart path上，球员能得到一个clean view. 你不能drop 后，得不到一个clean vi
ew, 这就不公平了。
当然，到d显然也超过了2 club length.. 但这也是exceptional情况下。
不过，rule is rule....有些记住就行。 rule是建立在公平 公正的基础上的。
记得pebble beach的例子，球员号称某一击把球击水里了，那drop off可能就是南太平
洋的某个小岛了。。

Now, because he have to stand on the cart path, which is an immovable
obstruction, he can get relief. I know that if he hit his ball directly to
C, he will get relief because he have to stand on cart path.
Actually I am interested in these sort of rules because I hit the ball all
over the course, sometimes in very difficult situat

发帖数: 753 | 7 I think I made a mistake. I watched this years masters and saw a guy
getting relief in woods, I assume he is getting it because of the branches
in his swing path, but maybe it is not the case.
Anyway, the obstruction is defined as:
Obstructions - any man-made object, except:
(1) objects defining out of bounds
(2) any part of an immovable man-made object which is out of bounds; and
(3) any construction declared by the Committee in the Local Rules to be an
integral part of the course.

我当时也觉得奇怪。
你这习惯挺好的。琢磨一遍，很快就熟悉了。
我到现在很多rule都不熟悉 ，和pros打的时候他能给说说。
有些场地不好的情况下（比如下雨什么的），能拿到不少free drop的机会。。

rule is rule. you can't play not by rule. you can creat your own rule, but
you n
eed understand what's the real rule.
even though you creat your own rule, your rule still needs to be fair so the
re won't be any argument later on.

我有一次par5, 开球后, 球在cart path上一直滚到离果岭100吗.
而且球落Cart Path附近, 还经常会发生free drop, 甚至如OP所述得free drop after
free drop after free drop.
所以当场地很开阔, 前面一马平川, 应该尽量冲cart path瞄, 准保不吃亏就是了. | ET
