do it every week, except you really talk a lot with your golf partners.
here is one way (Not for true golf fans) to play 18 holes under 3 hours
including driving time:
super twilight on weekday, most course won't be crowded.
play 2 balls each hole. when you finish 9-10 holes, you pratically finish
18 holes.
chip and putt very quickly, in term of exercise fitness value, short game
contributes the least.

As beginner you shouldn't be playing 7300 yard, more like 6000-6400 (for men
) yd is more appropriate. |

发帖数: 2325 | 9 here is one solution to deal with slow play 4some, especially practice play.
1) no separate warm up; use hole 1-3 to warm up, don't expect long ball
first 3 holes
2) play two balls, you can leave after 9 or 10 holes, or 2.5 - 3 hour mark.
equivalently 18 holes played already under 3 hours. nobody says you must
finish all 18 holes.
i tried to tee up two balls at the same time, hit one after another within
10 seconds in quick pace. so won't take much extra time hitting one more
ball.

我附近的,能打得起的球场，除了周一到周五上午中午人少一些，其他的时间，都是人
很多，跟在别人后面打球，没四个半小时，根本打不完，况且有些人打得慢一些，所以
五个小时能完成，算是运气好。

but once I found 2-3 hour course play is a possibility, i ended up play
course more frequently than before.
practice/play at course is much more fun than at range.
for guys run & jog regularly 2-3 hours week, may just replace run&jog with 9-hole golfing.
or run& jog with clubs on course. like ben hogan, golfing his way to grocery shops.

the ball, so I always get a bogey or double or triple in the first hole.

for approach shots. |
