Say, I post with the following content:
the subject is : I want to challenge Aff in the following two-week for a 18-
hole play.
Post content:
Starting date: 07/10/2012
Ending date: 07/23/2012
Challenger: ET
The other party: Aff.
Format: 18-hole stroke play
Handicap-based: YES (if no, we only count the course's handicap.)
Bet: mitbbs $100
RULE:
If it's handicap based, we post our own handicap and the course's sloping/
rate. We count the win-lose based on the handicap and course.
If it's only course handicap, we only take into account the couse handicap.
If this kind of heads-up challenge goes well, we can also start to play some
team golf challenge.
What do you guys think?
We can also use this to build up our own handicap system so in case we will
play some match in person, we can start from here.
I have a spreadsheet to calculate the net score and handicap. | C******s
发帖数: 1917 | 2 I think it is a great idea. Why not do it as a weekly challenge for all
parties who are interested in posting their scores, gross, net, with course
slope and rating?
Then every Sunday night ET can compile everyoneS scores and posted them on
the board? So it is like a virtue tournament every week, same schedule as
the PGA.
What do you guys think?

Let's call a few guys get it started and gain some experience.
Then we call tournaments.
It might not be necessary to send to me. I can make a share Google Docs so
everyone just enters his own score.
