interesting read. it said he is using a flatter swinging plain which increases
his consistency.

u may not believe that - which is what I am exactly doing, or trying to
emulate.
I use one of his photos at the 2005 s.t Andrew course , at my msn messenger
profie picture, and I can post it here if u want to browse using www, which is
exaclty about on the top of backswing.
I do believe the flatter swing plane makes the swing more reliable, tho it's
not easy to control the timing. Especially, the flatter swing plane is good
for driver, long irons.

a little too fast with my driver, and that's causing the inconsistency at
impact. he also mentioned the swing plain, but he's going to work on that at
some later time. i've been working on keeping my lower body a little quieter
the last couple of weeks and so far i have seen some improvement. driving is
the hardest part of the game, and as the article pointed out, one is always on
the edge, can never be total happy wit

first, he is just too aggresive when using his driver. I never saw he tried to
sslow down a little bit when he makes his driver shot. as long as he wants to
, i guess the fairway hit data will be better.
somewhere i agree with you, the worst year for him, in 2003, his averaged
fairway hit is about 33% something like that. it seems he got the similar data
at the Tour championship.
so the fairway hit could be an indication.
