bottom of the cup. i know quite a few people who have had hole-in-ones.
earlier this year, one of the guys in my foursome had one on a 175yds par3
right in front of my eyes. it was quite a sight!
in some of the charity tournaments or business outings i've been to, a hole-in
-one can win a car, sometimes a corvette, or bmw, or porsche. one of the guys
i know won a corvette in one of the tournaments with a hole-in-one.

borrowed 7-iron. The ball flied really high and hit 5 feet left of the pin.
It rolled back and HIT the pin first and then stopped out at the edge of th
e hole. At the end, I found out the turf at the hole stick out and made the
hole smaller. "Damn." I cursed. It ruined my hole-in-one.
