昨天偶发email问负责招研究生的教授。他的答复如下：

Unfortunately, I have still not received your application from
the International Student Office, so I am unable to provide you
with any additional information. Your case will be evaluated as
soon as possible, but repeated e-mail messages to me requesting
information on the status of your application will not speed up
the review process, or increase your chances for admission.
