PALM CITY, Fla. -- A Palm City woman was shot Thursday morning during a home
invasion, but she was also able to shoot the suspect, who fled and was
apprehended a short time later, neighbors and authorities said.
The incident occurred at a home in the 1500 block of Southwest Crossings
Circle shortly before 9 a.m.
