Police arrested a Columbus man early this morning and charged him with
shining a laser scope attached to a high-powered rifle into the cockpits of
a Life Flight helicopter and a police helicopter.
The pilot of a Life Flight helicopter had just lifted off from Grant Medical
Center at 2:40 a.m. when he reported that a green laser was being pointed
