FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office plans to
change its policy for gun shows at the Crown Expo Center after a rifle
went off during a Sunday event, authorities said Wednesday.
A Chapel Hill man brought a rifle to the C&E Gun Show and gave it to a
deputy who was checking that all firearms brought inside were unloaded.
Bands are placed on the triggers to show the weapons have been
