if they want to do a piston system, they should redesign the whole platform.

18也算根儿红苗正的AR吧？
就机械自动原理，我看再搞100年也出不了什么新玩艺儿了。

every now and then some big shot company would come out to challenge the AR
platform with their own similar design, but in the end AR variants still
dominates the market.
the way I see those piston ARs...they're but interchangeable parts, the
market is there, and it's a lot safer than complete new designs.
