把 shell 给捡了回来收藏，查了一下是.30-06 7.62x63 的，

It shoots great. After the first shooting range visit with it, I bought a
shoulder pad immediately.
The recoil is rough, but I think all average men can handle it.
BTW, two of my friends had accident with 30-06 before. One had damaged his
glasses, the other one had 11 stitches around eye. Both were hit by the
scope. |

查了一下是.30-06 7.62x63 的，
三者几乎差不多。如果是同样质量的弹头（都属0.30英寸口径）、用的同样重量的枪，
三者的后坐力应该是一样的。

Surprisingly, most Americans do not use pad.
Even the man's two young sons (about 16-18) do not use a pad.

30-06弹壳里面大约只装一半的火药。308和30-06用的是一模一样的子弹。7.62X54R弹
头也几乎一样，直径大概粗0.03英寸。不是弹壳粗长就更猛威力。要看弹头的重量。

是不是便于威力拓展，便于有些 30-06 可以装更多的火药，打得更猛

I remember military .30-06 has a muzzle energy of about 2400fpe, while .308
military ammo has a muzzle energy of about 2500fpe, so military .30-06 is
even less powerful than .308, probably due to the improved propellent of .
308 over .30-06
So, energy wise:
mil .30-06 < mil .308 < commercial 308 < commercial .30-06 |

when .308 was designed about 50 years later, the technology improved, so the
shorter case can generate enough energy
The new technology also benefits the old .30-06 caliber, that is why now
current .30-06 commercial ammo is a little more powerful than .308

My Remington 760's recoil (30-06) was obviously heavier than Remington 700 (
308). I didn't compare the gun weight, maybe 700 is heavier than 760.
