家防披挂上。根据形势还可以加插硬甲。 |

家防看看US Palm,前面加软甲就够了吧,不到200。全面围上又慢又热。
或者AR500?carrier加4面插板300多。防步枪但重多了。不过需要自己despall。

There are some level iii trauma plates that are designed for multi hit and
anti spall. Ceramics are used by the military, tried and true, and
polyethylene plates are nice and light. Steel might be a little too heavy...
.but it sure is stab proof. |
t******8 发帖数: 2803 | 5 1/4" steel is not too much heavier than ceramic (?) and is multi-hit capable
and fracture resistent. Maybe good for trunk armor or long term SHTF armor.
Should I put steel behind soft armor to reduce spalling problem, or should I
put it in front of soft armor for shock absorption? |
S**********s 发帖数: 4534 | 6 the way hard armor plate is designed, it breaks up high velocity projectiles
into fragments upon impact so even if the projectile ended up penetrating
the hard plate, the fragments will be stopped by the soft armor.
just to be safe, i don't thin reversing the plate is a good idea, unless it'
s a stand alone plate (level III in the front and soft armor in the back),
that way you can insert the plate behind your soft armor.
Maybe you can get some plates that already has anti-spalling - most likely a
layer of level II in the front
capable
armor.
