I tracked ammo and ar-15 closing bids on my computer last 3 days.
Have huge tracking program took 2 weeks to build from my stock market
program.
It does seem to add up with what shot show dealers said.
I seen on gun broker ar-15 new prices are only hitting $1000-$1100 on
average last few days. bushmaster, dpms, stag, rock river plus new frontier
tracked. No I didn't track every name brand too hard so picked basic ones.
Sure there are listing higher (but ZERO BIDS so they DONT COUNT). I looked
at (sold closing bids on five name brand ar's) all $1100-$1200 on average
with normal stock and quaud.
Then no name stuff like NFA new frontier ars hammered are like $800-$900
closing bids.So that's around a $300 price drop on average each ar after
last weeks drop also. OUCH!
I think when the executive order was bullshit then hype came down.
HANDGUNS : certain 1911s, berettas, colts, glocks moved up ave $50-$75.
Possible they were ignored for 2 months.
now ar's are dead so money moving into under priced hand guns.
AMMO: ammo prices certain calibers getting crushed friday night prime time
like 7 pm to 10 pm plus tracked Wednesday - friday night prices.
Many calibers going way down.
Only ammo winner was .40 went from $420 case to $560 case average.
Obama buying that cal for his civilian army is reason why.
.45 acp ave was only $440 down $100.
.308 way down $800 per 1000. down $300 case. OUCH.
9MM down $100 case to $360 case. OUCH.
.40 WENT UP $150 case to $550. Obama buying .40 so drying market.
7.62 went down $100 price to $380. Was around $475 case
223 got killed Pmc bronze went down $100-$150 last 3 days was any where from
$600 - $650 area and that's retail. OUCH!!
223 Federal killed sometimes not even reaching $700 case -$250 reduction.
SUMMARY THIS WEEK:
DOWN - ar-s down another $200-$300 for week - ouch.
store stock on ars is coming in fast. UP HANDGUNS - $50-$75 AVERAGE DOWN -
ammo : 45 acp ,9mm. 7.62x39 down maybe $100 case .
DOWN - PMC 223 got crushed biggest looser this week $150 drop $600-$650
range
DOWN - lake city 556 or federal 556 and 308 killed $200 case drop..
UP - Biggest winner .40 due to Obama buying it all up went up $150 case . | h*******g
