I finally picked LCR after I read on Ruger forum about its torture test
Other than its smoother trigger mentioned in the other thread, I also like
LCR's look comparing to SW642 (grip was not counted since I will change it
to CT anyway)
I also considered 9mm like shield and lcp, but gave up the idea after
someone mentioned small guns like that were picky on ammo (I can't verify it
since I have never owned one) |

The CT grip is over $250
Total around $700 (or over, I don't remember), but I don't recall the exact
figure.
but don't stop your research without consulting 9mm owners, one reason I
didn't go that path was I usually don't practice a lot so I wouldn't
particularly feel comfortable with loaded-cocked 9mm.
I CCW simply because I needed that when I hunt alone.
