I received my mid-tier XPS this morning, and so far I am loving it. Sat my c
oworker's new rMBP next to the XPS and compared screens for about an hour. O
nce I turned the brightness up a hair to match the rMBP, the screens looked
pretty much identical during video playback. We were testing with a 2k resol
ution video recorded on a GoPro. The rMBP hickupped a couple times playing t
he video, while the XPS was smooth the whole time. The overall consensus wit
h my coworkers is that the XPS screen does look slightly more crisp, and doe
sn't dim as much viewing from the side. To be honest though, I would be happ
y with either screen. So far I love this thing. I didn't think I would use t
he touchscreen, but am quickly getting used to having it! With the charge fr
om the factory (I'm guessing about 80%), I got about 4 hours battery life be
fore it gave me a warning at 10%. I would expect it to be around 5 hours (co
ntinuous usage), maybe 6. I was hoping for a little better than that, but th
at is much better than my HP's 2 hour life. I am blown away at how fast it b
oots with the hybrid drive. It is right around 8 seconds. The only thing I'm
finding strange about this laptop so far is that it takes it almost a minut
e to shut down. The screen turns off, the fan continues to run, and the powe
r button stays lit. I am guessing that it is cooling off? Overall I am very
happy with the XPS, and am glad I purchased it. | m**c

不过dell不知道更新网站么。现在搜xps 15第一个链接是2012的旧model.... |
