I just got ThinkPad T450 laptop with two batteries (one is built in and 2nd
is removable)
1. Should 2nd battery installed all the time? How do they work together? How
to manage two batteries?
2. I cannot find Power Manager software on Windows 8.1 to set charging
threshold. How do you guys do it?
3. Do you have a list of recommended software to install on new computer?
4. Will upgrade to 500GB SSD soon. Should I create 2 (or 3) partitions for
OS, software, and personal data on SSD? Should software be put together with
OS?
5. If I create a recovery USB drive from hidden factory partition, how large
should the USB drive capacity be?
6. After I install all software, I want to create an image of whole OS disk
for easier/quicker recovery or periodic refresh, can the image be put on
another HDD with other files, or should it be on one drive by itself? Any
guide on how to do it?
