While sipping on a cup of warm coffee, as my usual habit for the morning, I looked out of the window. I spotted the breathtaking moment of the day. The sky was so dark, but there was a group of golden sun rays escaped the capture of the cloud, shining through a tiny crack of the darkness. The scenery was spectacular.
Matt, wish you were here. We could hold hands and enjoy this beautiful moment. Lately, I speak less and less words. Silence is my way to say no to life. Smiles are rare events in my life. But this morning, I thought of you when I woke up. My heart was beating so fast. Then, things were back to routine. I repeated that four-word sentence again. My heart sank and ached as if a razor blade has cut through it. Life
consists of elements we could not predict and could not comprehend. I used to deal with it in a hard way when I was young. I used to fight for it hard, uncontrollably hard. Now I just take it as it is and let it be. It is not because I think it less, but because I take it more precious then ever. So I framed the moments and collected the pieces that are precious and memorable, and I keep them safe and sound at the
deepest place of my heart. Whenever I need a dose of love, that's the consulate where I will go. Am I so numb? so ruthless? so cold blooded? so abused? so .....easy to bear the pain? NO. NEVER! It is just a different expression. The best is the past or the future. I don't know. At least I know the best is not now. I am sick. |
