标 题: Suggestions needed, how to call your friend with just one word as first name?

If he/she is the same gender as you are, it is ok to call him/her first name
, like Yan, Hua, Jing...But if he/she is opposite gender, I feel it is kind
of weird to call him/her one-word first name because it sounds intimate in
our culture.
