what happieness is and to shape our believes. If we just solely depend on
our "hardwares" to creat happieness, then it is easier for us to say:" yep,
I am not happy becuse I have one mutated gene.I screwed up that relationship
is
because my neurons misfired and caused misconnection. I killed that guy
because my brain secrets less serotonin. " By this way, I think we are easy
to get off the hook and forget our responsibilities. I love TED very much
and some of the lectures are very inspiring. Through the years, what we
believe to be
science is not necessary to be the true science. Today science is more
subjective and biased than ever. More unethical performances are found among
scientists. The true definition of science is absolute true knowledge. We
are far less advanced to know it, because we are not the creator, we could
not see things from a panaromic view, even though we believe we have it all
under
control. Anyhow, my point is, as HUMAN BEING, we are far more complexed!!
What defines us is our "software", not some chemicals floating around our
bodies.The major chemical composition of our brain is fat, but it performs
amazing functions. As scientist myself, sometimes I think I am pathetic. ^_^
Nothing to be offensive, just some simple thoughts on a late Monday night.
