I've got a system set up with Verizon FIOS (with their wireless router)
I have a NAS and I ripped CDs with AIFF format. When I use Sonos to stream
the music via home network to my NAIM DAC however, the speed was very bad...
there are at least two hiccups during each song.
What should I do to improve my home network speed(bandwidth??)? Thank you. |

h****m 发帖数: 405 | 5 Even 802.11g WIFI is enough for flac streaming. I'm doing that back home,
using home brew NAS and squeezebox. But if the reception of your WIFI signal
is poor at your DAC, than can screw the whole thing up. Try to test it with
wired LAN. |
c******e 发帖数: 111 | 6 thanks for the responses. the NAS is connected directly to the router. So
they are "wired".
I then tried apple lossless music on Sonos and then it worked just fine. I
suspect that it's the sonos+aiff combo that screwed things up. |
