answer so far. so here is my try: for those looking for a karaoke mixer, buy
one with balanced mic inputs and digital effects. This pretty much means
pro mixers. I recommend something like this:

is the answer. the mixer is generally a low tech equipment, which means the
performance difference is much from quality parts, not much from design.
This also mean more money does land you better sound, primarily in too areas
that concerns us: noise and effects. noise is easy to understand, but it's
additional to other equipments in your setup. so a silent mixer won't fix

those at the level of vocopro and bose 301.
I went with Mackie profx8. but I think if people are using speakers with
less than $2000 msrp, behringer is plenty good performance wise. reliability
is another things though. I have no comments on that. but I would choose
behringer in a heart beat if budget is a concern.

也可以用。我的搭配是Sanson MDR624 + Pioneer Receiver （‘unplug’ sound mode
）+ surround speakers。

发帖数: 893 | 8 I am not sure what unplus sound mode is (similar to prologic and neo?). but
I think the concept is rather interesting. It could potentially create some
pleasant results if calibrated correctly. although it's not as flexibly and
mixer FX and will color the music portion as well.

发帖数: 20252 | 10 就是n个环绕声效其中的一种，每个receiver牌子都不一样。因为我的mixer没有音效，连echo控制都没有，如果receiver用普通stereo模式的话，唱出来的声音非常干，加了环绕声效就不同了。
你唱K的时候会用不容的声效模式吗？还是直接跳到“最佳”声效？

supposed to be the same quality as seen in vlz mixers. I think it is one of
the sweet choices for karaoke. There are people complaining some noise
issue when recording through usb port. I donno how severe that problem is
but for karaoke, who cares.:)
And I agree that if people are happy with vocopro and bose, they should be
happy with behringer and samson too.

when we talk about sound, it always include both direct sound and
reflections. and when you sing karaoke, even not using FX on your mixer, the
room itself is providing a natural FX (reverb, depending how lively your
room is. most room in a home is not lively enough). the FX in the mixer is
only a way to give you some control over the "environment."

控，音箱还是omni的。
反正就是有啥用啥，效果听起来也不差。对比普通stereo mode跟surrounding模式，我
能听出明显的效果差别。

mixer add FX to mains and your receiver add FX to surround speakers.
