But you have to be aware that it's an overkill for Karaoke especially if you
are using crappy audio interfaces and/or mixers. Sony ECM-MS957 is a stereo
mic. It is not recommended for beginners to invest on stereo recording
unless they know what they are doing.

发帖数: 2663 | 4 If you've got a couple of SM57 in your bag and knows how to set them up when
recording instruments then you kinda passed the beginner phase. The sony
mic you are looking at is mostly for documentary purpose or video recording
accessories. You can use it as instrumental mic if you want. To me it just
seem like eating fastfood unless there is a specific reason for this.

wish the sound be the perfect that i could get and will record, if i get
cheaper one, it might be good to start, then after a while i buy better ones
? i am thinking i could ask some music player fiends nearby for setting
maybe?

pick the right tools for the right task. If your purpose is just document
your live performance, the stereo mic might do well. If you want to get the
most out of your performance or you are in the process of create something
of fine quality, that stereo mic may not be the right tool you want.
