如果要买二手器材,看看这个帖子很有帮助。If a deal is too good to be true, it
is almost a scam.
这里主要讨论的是Linn的scam,但是任何器材都是类似的。
骗子基本有以下特征:
1. No serial number mentioned or pictured
2. You think you have seen the picture before
3. Description taken from Linn's website
4. Seller has no recent feedback or it is all for barbie clothes or similar
(scammers hack dormant accounts)
5. Seller responds to questions by saying they are out of the country
6. Seller will not accept face to face purchase.
7. Price is a Buy it Now price less than half market price
8. Advert is of three day duration
9. The seller has a multiple reviews from the same set of users
10. Double listing of the same exact unit
以及:
1) If you are asked to send money via WesternUnion or other money laundering
machine - it's a scam
2) If item is seriously cheap, and located in some remote Scottish island,
so chances of seeing the item working are slim... it's a scam. Well, item
can be in London, but the seller "is going away for 2 months to Venezuela,
Russia, or the North Pole" - it's a scam
3) ALWAYS ask for extra photos - something unusual, like "it looks like
there is a little scratch on the body in the top left corner, could you show
me the close-up from this angle" ? If it's genuine, you will most likely
get your photo - or, in fact, 20 of them, as the seller will take the time
to show all blemishes he is aware of
4) most importantly - use common sense. If at any point of the deal you
think the seller gives you contradicting information, or you think something
is not as it should be - walk away. Sometimes your gut feeling can save you
quite a bit of money! Better safe than sorry. |
